YES! Tinsley was diagnosed by several doctors for many years with IBS and many (if not the majority) of people with celiac have been diagnosed with IBS prior to receiving an accurate diagnosis.  If you think you have celiac disease do not stop eating gluten. You must have inflamed villi to receive an accurate positive diagnosis.  And make an appointment with your doctor now!  Ask for a celiac blood panel and talk to them about your suspicions.  If you feel comfortable, bring notes to your visit as this will make your doctor take your request more seriously.
